I never remember my dreams, I may remember snippets of some, or how I felt in them, but never fully clearly remember them.
So, when I had a dream a few weeks ago and I woke up not only remembering it, but still being able to visualize it in my mind, I knew it was special.
I shared it with my good friend, Janet (Miss Ellie and Hazel’s mom), because as I said to her, I felt it was not so much a dream, but a message to us both, from our girls.
And because I dedicated this blog to the love of the dogs in my life, I decided to share it with my readers. I hope you find some peace in it, knowing our loved ones are still around, or if that is not what you believe, I hope you at least find some entertainment out of it.
Start of dream:
Janet and I were at a pool, she was floating on a floaty in the water, and I was on the side, soaking my feet. We were talking about our girls (Dahlia and Miss Ellie), and Janet said to me, “Dahlia is so good at communicating with you.”
I agreed, “she is but I don’t feel her or hear from her enough, it’ll never be enough.”
As soon as I said that, a HUGE, dinosaur size, white, glistening, angelic, dragonfly appeared in front of me. Janet and I just knew it was Dahlia, and I said to Dahlia, “Hi my sweet lady, thank you for visiting me. Are you happy that Miss Ellie has joined you?”

The dragonfly nodded, yes, so I asked her, if Miss Ellie was happy and again, she nodded yes.
I asked Dahlia if Miss Ellie and Dupont have met and if so, are they getting along. Dahlia, once again, nodded yes and when she did, three small, normal size turquoise dragonflies appeared out of no where and floated by her side.

Janet and I looked at each other and somehow knew one was representing Miss Ellie, and one was representing Dupont. It was like Janet and I could read each others minds and did not need to speak, we just knew, Dupont and Miss Ellie were there. Janet and I gave each other a look, like “this is amazing,” we also silently communicated to one another, “who is the third dragonfly who came with Dupont and Miss Ellie?” I said aloud, “I’ll ask her.”

I looked at dragonfly, who was Dahlia and I asked her, “is that Zoe or Harlee with Miss Ellie and Dupont,” at that she gave me a smile and flew off, and the other dragonflies vanished into thin air. –End of dream
Zoe is Miss Ellie’s mom, who passed away 7 years ago, and Harlee is Miss Ellie’s sister who passed away last year. When I shared my dream with Janet, she felt the third dragonfly may have been may cat, Angel, who passed away 4 years ago.
I’ll never know for sure who the third one was, but what I do know, is all our fur kids who have left us on this physical plain are well, and most importantly are keeping the pack together while they wait for the rest of us to join them.

Totally your girls reaching out. They are never far.
